Twin Disc designs and manufactures heavy-duty off-highway power transmission equipment and electronic controls. Twin Disc Power Transmissions are utilized in construction and industrial equipment, as well as for marine, forestry, and agricultural applications.

Log Yarders Utilizing Twin Disc 2000 Series Power-Shift Transmissions:
Ideal for logging applications, the Twin Disc TAC 51-2000 Power-Shift Transmission is a five speed forward, one speed reverse unit. The most popular ratios deliver overall coverages of 5.83, 5.44, and 4.88. The 2000 Series is furnished with a Twin Disc Single-Stage, Rotating Housing Hydraulic Torque Converter. The Converter/Transmission package is available as an integral design or as separate units for independent mounting. Options include automatic lock-up clutch for direct drive, electric range selector, hydraulic retarder for variable braking and a transfer case on the output end.

Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting
Twin Disc Power-Shift Transmissions are offered with a capacity range to 800 horsepower. Straight through type models and transfer case type models are available. Automatic transmissions systems for Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) are also available featuring Twin Disc advanced microprocessor technology and system engineering.

Service and repair can be completed with ordinary tools.		Easier Operation: Even the most inexperienced operator can control a Twin Disc Power-Shift Transmission. Automatic shift control is available for most models.
