Mill Log Wilson Equipment Mill Log Wilson Equipment Ltd. is the Canadian Division of Mill Log Group of Companies. Mill Log Wilson has a long history of service excellence with locations in Vancouver, BC and Edmonton, Alberta.
Wilson Equipment was first incorporated on May 1st, 1948 by Ken Wilson in Vancouver, but even prior to that date the Wilson family was involved in heavy equipment manufacturing as the Tyee Equipment Company building Skookum Log Yarders. Even during these early years, Wilson and Tyee were associated with Twin Disc as a factory authorized "Parts Station." Wilson founded their business on service to the forestry and marine industries in western Canada.
As the industry advanced from steam powered drive systems to diesel power
around 1950, Wilson secured a Twin Disc Hydraulic Dealer Agreement and soon after began
dealing in the Deublin Rotating Unions equipment line as well. Later in 1951 they
opened a location in Edmonton, Alberta with new industrial demands coming from the local
oil drilling and agricultural sectors across Alberta.
In more recent years Wilson Equipment expanded their service capabilities to include heavy duty fire engines, railway transport cars, four wheel drive tractors, and even ski lift installations. Finally, in August 1997 Wilson Equipment was acquired as the latest member of the Mill Log Group of companies, and since then has been known as Mill Log Wilson Equipment Ltd..
